Kentucky's Virginia Red Leaf is grown and flu cured in the heart of the legendary "Black Patch" region of Southwest Kentucky. It is its own genera from the species of Virginia Red Leaf (Parthenocissus quinquefolia (L.) Planch. It is found nowhere else in the world and has been grown in this portion of the State since the 1700's.

Kentucky's Virginia Red Leaf is known for its deep color, thicker leaf, and rich, masculine, sweet, and tangy flavor profile that is popular in pipe tobacco blends for its full-bodied characteristics. Often aged for a finer more caramelized flavor. Used as cigar wrapper, filler, blending.
